Day 10: Word Guess (Complete)
Today I finished my Word Guess game. Today I coded the win lose alerts, as well as the replay button. In addition, I changed the color scheme and the position of the answer word. I made the colors a bit darker to fit better with the yellow and green of the letters. I’m pretty happy…

Day 9: Word Guess (In Progress)
Today I worked more on my word guessing game. The main goal today was to compare user guesses with the answer word and display that. I did this by splitting both words into characters and comparing the characters. If both words have the same character in the same place the user’s letter turns green, and…

Day 8: Word Guess (In Progress)
I worked on my word-guessing game again today. I created a database of 999 five-letter words and when the game starts a PHP script will choose a random word. I’ll prevent repeat words by keeping a list of used words, or perhaps the word IDs from the database. I plan to change the page’s color…

Day 7: Word Guess (In Progress)
Today I started working on a word guessing game. I plan for it to be similar to Wordle, where you guess a five letter word. I have a file of 5 letter words and plan to use PHP to grab them from a database. So far I’ve edited my number game page to work better…

Day 4: Number Game (In Progress)
Today I decided to create a number game, sadly I didn’t have much time and was unable to finish it but I’ll work on it again tomorrow. The idea of the game is that a randomly generated range between 0 and 100 will be the starting range and as the user guesses numbers that range…

Day 3: Random Word Generator (Complete)
Today I worked on my random word generator for 2 hours and finished it. I decided to allow the user to type a list that the word will be selected from. Since the words are separated by spaces, the user can copy from other sites or books with minimal formatting. The source code can be…

Day 2: Random Word Generator (In Progress)
Today, I decided to modify my number generator from yesterday to select a random index from an array and display the value. Sadly, I don’t have much time today and didn’t get to finish it, but I’ll work on it again tomorrow. In the hour I’ve worked on it, I’ve finished everything except the array,…
